Cut the Crap (out of) Google!

We all want more relevant search results when we search the net or query Google right? You want to find the exact answer to your question without trying to sort out all the trash that can rank its way up in search engines correct? Not a new tool perhaps but nonetheless a very useful feature of Google is the Linux geared search modification you can access here: http://www.google.com/linux

I for one really appreciate Google giving a little something back to the Linux community especially since they run their business on roughly 450,000 Linux servers. This Linux focused or “filtered” search is a very useful tool when you are specifically looking for answers to your Linux questions and don't want to be bothered with any unrelated rubbish.

A couple of things I have noticed while using this tool is an increased return result speed and less advertising, and naturally we have tux looking at us while using the search and in many ways makes me think of how good the world could be if more people used Linux. Well that is just simply a matter of time.
