Having an extensive background in both the world of Linux and writing, Christopher Mead was one of the original founders and creators of the LinuxHow2 project. A programmer by day and a LinuxHow2 author by night, Christopher enjoys writing about, defending, and enforcing the open source doctrine. Christopher has a foundation in kornshell/bash programming, open source programming (namely Perl, Python, Ruby, PHP, etc), a system administration background with Apache/MySQL based servers, and worked on and administered a number of Linux operating systems including Red Hat, Fedora, openSUSE, Ubuntu, Mandrake, Damn Small Linux, and PCLinuxOS. Wherever there's a man, woman or child stuck on a proprietary system, Christopher is there to enlighten him or her. |
